inspiredby collects claims that songs and albums were written about, inspired by, or dedicated to real people, and keeps the evidence and source for each one. Claims are marked confirmed when the artist or the subject said so, reported when they come from editors or journalists, and denied when the only evidence is a denial.
Data is gathered by a small, slow crawler that identifies itself as
InspiredByBot/0.1 (song-inspiration research prototype; https://inspiredby.skyhouse.dev).
It reads public Wikidata and Wikipedia APIs at no more than one request every two seconds, honours
Retry-After, and caches everything it fetches so it never asks twice.
